Microneedling uses micro-needles to puncture the skin and cause physical trauma. Our body corrects this trauma by forming new collagen. Microneedling is used to improve acne scarring, surgical scars, or improve overall skin texture. 

From microneedling alone, your skin will look plump, pink and luminous for a couple of weeks. In recent studies, skin treated with four microneedling sessions spaced one month apart produced up to a 400% increase in collagen and elastin six months after completing the treatment.​
